A multi-layered and textured self-portrait, which depicts the daily battle of living with a significant neurological condition, that affects every day of my life, migraine, alongside burnout in corporate life.

The use of various textures portray masking pain, sensory overload, and symptoms. The portrait colours are chaotic, whereas the burnt, cream coloured mask, in vague 'pill' shaped apertures, attempts to portray the daily mask worn to present a calmer public facing mask, that is easier to deal with than the real person behind.
